When the phone rings, a recorded voice whispers the call as a sales enquiry. This gives me time to put on my sales hat before pressing a button to connect the caller. It's easy for children too. If they hear the whisper they know to pass me the phone. I then press a number key to connect the call.

And because the service is free (the telco makes its money by receiving a portion of the cost of each call) I actually use several numbers, one for each "department". I can also use additional numbers to tag my advertisements so that I can easily track the response to each one.
